Fun in Ferron

We decided to make a weekend out of our trip to Ferron. My family would move to Ferron in a heartbeat if I would be willing. I just can't make myself believe that I would like it there. I quite enjoy being so close to everything. After the graveside service, we had lunch and then went boating. Ferron has a little reservoir that is FREEZING cold. I did not get out of the boat, but a little cold water certainly did not stop my kids from getting as much time as possible in the water. It looks like we have a few surfers...maybe I can talk them into moving to California!
The next day was the Temple dedication so we went to that in the morning and enjoyed the rest of the day in Ferron. Ferron is a fun place to visit. Riley had the most fun in grandpa's "junk yard" building things and finding treasures. Just before heading home we went to what the locals call "the drop off" which looks like the edge of the earth...beautiful! Eli brought along a gun and let everyone shoot it...again another highlight.
Although I won't be moving to Ferron anytime soon, I did have a really fun and relaxing weekend with my family.
