Happy Days Will Come To You All Year! I know I'm slightly late posting this, but as I like to say "a little late, but worth the wait". Merrill turned 44 this year but is still as young at heart as he was the day I met him...maybe more. Merrill is just like a teenager in lots of ways. One of his favorite things to do is long board down Provo Canyon and I think he'd do it everyday if he had more time. Most men his age spend time at the golf course, but not Merrill. His favorite pair of shoes are his Heelys much to my dismay. I HATE those shoes and he is not allowed to wear them when he is with me. He says he "speed shops" with them at Costco and I keep waiting for them to kick him out. He coached Richard's lacrosse team and Riley's flag football team and I loved watching him with those boys. You might think someone who never played lacrosse would not be able to coach, but no one else would do it so he did. Not only did they have the best team, but I think they had the most fun. Merrill is always willing to help whenever needed which I love and hate. Sometimes I can be so selfish! Merrill is also honest to a fault, another trait I love and hate. The one thing I adore most about him is that he lets me be me, and supports the things that I feel strongly about even when he doesn't really want to. Happy Birthday Merrill, thanks for being you, and putting up with me! I heart you!
