This is perfect for today! Today I'm thankful to have a daughter. I always knew I wanted a little girl...I just didn't know really how much I would love her. Don't misunderstand me, I LOVE my boys...there's just something different about a daughter. My dad always tells her that she's her mommy's clone and it's the truth. She is like me in almost every way. She loves to have "all day shopping events" and have her nails done with me. Last week her shoe broke at school and she called me to bring her another pair. As she was giving me instructions on how exactly her shoe had broken and which pair of shoes to bring to her I was trying to get off the phone to finish cleaning. I kept saying ,"OK Lindsay I'll see you in a minute." and finally she said,"Mom, Mom, Mom..." so I stopped trying to get off the phone and decided she had something really important to tell me. I said,"what?", and she said,"come pretty." Needless to say she wore the broken shoe for the rest of the day as there was only about an hour before school let out and because I was in the middle of cleaning and not ready for the day I was "not pretty". I adore her honesty, attitude (although I don't always appreciate it), sense of style, inner strength & beauty, but most of all her love of life. She lives and loves everything she does to the fullest. I'm thankful that my Heavenly Father gave me a best friend for life! I love you Lindsay!

So cute! I love that she tells you to "come pretty". She is your clone and that is a good thing. Girls are pretty special in their own little way. :)

Casey always says little girls just make the world a better place. I'm lovin the girl after 2 boys also, it's the best!! "Come Pretty"... I love it, adorable.
