Birthday Boy

Have you met my 13 year old? I know you don't think I look nearly old enough to have a son that is 13 years old...that's because he's not my son, he's my husband! Merrill turned 43 today and he still plays like a 13 year old! His favorite thing to do in his spare time is long board down Provo Canyon or go play around in his Heeley's. Last week at the mall a few "wanna be cowboys" made some comment about him being "too old" to be wearing Heeley's. I'm so glad I wasn't there...I would have been mortified, I don't go with him if he's going to wear "those shoes". But one of the best, and worst things about Merrill is that he just doesn't let what other people think about him bother him. How would that be??? Maybe I should care a little less what people think about me.
