$17??? WHAT???

After the Donny & Marie show (FYI I'm team Marie! She does everything better than Donny!) we went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory inside Caesars Palace and did a little shopping on our way back to the car. If you know me I love shopping and candy! Inside FAO Schwartz (my favorite toy store) as we were leaving we happened upon the candy section. You know the kind I'm talking about...bulk candy of every kind nothing fancy just good old candy. At $5 a pound I thought I'd get a few of my favorites...BIG MISTAKE! Not only did I misread the $5 a HALF pound...I didn't even get anything really great. That is $10 A POUND! I refused the receipt...I just simply did not want any evidence of my stupidity! My mom could not stop laughing. Rachel had come close to my total...not quite, but close. That's right my friends, the bag of candy I'm holding cost me over $17. I think Rachel's was around $15. I'm not sure why we're smiling for the photo after just being taken advantage of by a TOY STORE! I'm still a little bitter about it! At least we got the cute red bags to go with our overpriced stale candy.
