Our family ran in the "Run for Ryan" 5K today. Richard, Merrill & I ran while Lindsay & Riley rode their bikes. I was OK with them riding their bikes especially considering the cold and rain this morning. It really feels like March right now in Utah. We paid the money and I figured if they wanted to ride their bikes no big deal right...wrong! When the organizer found out they rode their bikes he made such a big deal about it they both felt bad and told me I made them cheat. Oh well, I didn't realize they were giving out prizes and Lindsay took first in her age group and Riley took second (because they were on bikes!). Richard took 3rd place in his age group and he actually ran. He beat both Merrill & I! Live and learn, we really only ran in the race because we wanted to support the cause and I think it will be the first and last time for that one. We are however going to all RUN the Freedom 5K in Provo on the 4th of July. I'm trying to get ready for the Mud Run in October. The Mud Run is a challenging 10K run with hills, tire obstacles, river crossings, two 5-foot walls with mud on both sides, tunnel crawl, slippery hill climb, and the final 30-foot mud pit. The first thing you do is run through a fire hose. They say it is the most fun you can have running a 10K! I don't know how Annalee talks me into these things. I think I must be crazy!

I heard him get on them about riding their bikes. I wonder if he even cared about what the run was really for. He was so concerned about the actual race part of it. Oh well hu. Thanks for coming out. You guys are awesome!!
